Removing rear shock/bump stop

Can someone please tell me where I need to drill on the "crush sleeve" so I can get to the bump stop?

Here's a pic for reference...

on both its at the top. On the fronts you take off the tophat and everything is revealed on the rears it should be under the rubber piece at the stop.

On the rear, as pictured above, remove the rubber bushing piece if you haven't already. Slides right off. You see that collar just below the shocks threads? It should be slightly loose. It is the only thing that is keeping the black dust cover on. On the collar you should see a dimple. Use an appropriate size drill bit and drill out the dimple. After you have done that, the collar should slide off. You than can remove your dust cover, a washer type piece, and then your bump stop.

Thank you thank you thank you. Once I drill out that collar, can I reuse it?

I know Eibach provides a new collar with their Sportline springs, being I have seen them installed before. Check to see if your spring manufacturer provides you with a collar, but in theory it should be able to be reused if needed.

When drilling, if reusing stock shocks, careful not to drill too far as there is a possiblity of marking up the shaft of the shock. Nothing that would hinder the performance or working of it, but keep an eye on that.
