Question Installing an SI HFP suspension on an R18???

I know this question has come up before but I can't find a definitive answer.

I am looking at buying a used HFP suspension off of an SI coupe for my 06 EX coupe (manual, if that matters). Will this still drop the car 0.8" or whatever it is? I know that the SI is a little heavier and I think most of the additional weight is on the front end due to the K20. Does this mean the SI HFP suspension has stiffer front springs or longer front shocks? Will my front end sit higher than the back?

Anybody that has installed the SI kit on an R18 PLEASE HELP!!! I am supposed to buy this tomorrow and I am really worried that the car won't sit right or handle properly.

I think the Si has stiffer spring rates so the drop on the r18 will be barely noticeable. However, the handling will probably be a lot better.

I have the HFP suspension made for the r18 on my LX and I wish that it would lower it just a tad more. I can't complain on the improved handling tho.

You should be alright, the weight difference is minimal and the weight distrubution is the same.

Thanks for the input guys but im getting mixed messages still! One of you says im fine and the other says the drop won't be noticeable. I know the HFP doesn't drop it much but I definitely want to see the 0.8"-1" drop if I am going to buy this kit.

Can somebody who has tried this chime in? Pics would be nice too!

Thanks!

for some answers!!! C'mon people! I know somebody has done this but I can't find mention of it anymore.

Does an SI HFP kit still lower the car if installed on an EX and does it improve handling as good as using the R18 HFP kit?

What'd you find out about this? I'm considering the same thing but the variety of threads on the matter don't say anything conclusive.
