Spongey sadness... nipped break line?

I changed out my oil yesterday... and today I am confronted with spongy brakes I am thinking (although I really dont know how) that perhaps I nipped one of the lines and I am pulling air. Since our filter location on the Fg2 is ohhh so convenient maybe when I was removing it (wheel still on)... (Maybe banjo fitting got jostled.)

Anyway... in the event that I did indeed nip my line, I am thinking I will replace with SS lines. I have two questions:

1. Will this void my warranty (I cant see why, but who knows)

2. Will someone suggest some solid street performance SS lines (06 Fg2, dd with occassional spirited driving)

Thanks peeps.
