Little Review For B&G Coil Over

Hey guy,

Just got my B & G coil over installed 2 weeks ago, and want to do a little review on this coil since not too many people have them..

Installation
The installation went very smooth since the coil come with top mount so the installation was pretty straight forward took me about 2 hours since is just remove/reinstall and the shock is shorter than the stock one so you have no hassle at all.

Quality
The quality of this coil are pretty well build, B&G is from Netherland(Europe) and the Springs, Shock , Coil they have is all Made in Netherland and Hand Assembly in USA each coil will have the tech. first/last name initial on it so later if the coil have problem the know who to blame lol.

Handling. B&G vs Pro kit + Koni
The springs rate set at 6k on the front and 8k on the rear and damper is 18 way to adjust, compare to my old setup (Prokit + Koni) this is much stiffer even I have the damper set at little over half way(10 Click front and rear), the B&G have better handling at tight turn but high speed turn I have to give credit on the Koni, and now I have the damper to stiffest setting and now is even more stiff. lol

Ride Comfort
Yesterday one of my friend came to my house and he is in the market of coil over, he doesn’t like stiff ride so I have to put my damper all the way to the softest setting and let him feel it, the car felt like stock want you have the softest setting and my friend was pretty surprise too, and he said if I don’t have the boomba motor mount on it my car is going to ride smooth, but I love rough ride so after he left I change it back to the stiffest setting.

Drop
The front can go as low as you want I can say about 3.5inch drop or more, the rear is about 2.5 drop, but Im not a slam kind of person so my drop is about 1.5F and 1.5R.

Service/Warranty
They have a good customer service, I even got a Email from them yesterday and ask me I like the coil or not, so that why I did a write up for them so you guy can have other option to decide what coil you should get, he also mentioned if there problem on the coil over or any kind of B&G product, they offer life time warranty and is no hassle at all.

Over all I gave this Coil 9 out of 10.

Here is some picture of the Coil itself and installed photo enjoy!!

If you guy have question about the coil feel free to PM me or contact B&G directly @ Brain 858-547-9555 (Great guy I ever deal with)

B&G linked me to this thread. Just wanted to inform the 8th Civic community that we have 4 sets of these coilovers on the way. They are on sale and well discounted on our web store at:

B&G RS2 Coilover System - Excelerate Performance - Japanese and European Performance Specialists!!

We should have these in hand in a few days. This is a great suspension and this is a killer sale price. Ride height adjustment, damping adjustment, high quality construction and monotube dampers. Most ppl don't understand that many of the systems on the market are twin tube dampers which don't perform nearly as well as the monotube systems. Here's just a bit of info on monotube dampers:
