Need Help.. Looking to drop my car..

Ok, I just put 18" rims on my car, with 225/40/18 Tires. So of course I need to lower the car (LOOKS LIKE A 4X4) and I am debating between Eibach Pro Kit or the Sportlines.. My main objective is to REDUCE the wheel well gap no problems with the drop.. The obvious answer is the Pro kit, but i'm not quite sure if 1" will be enough lowering, opposed to the sportlines, which lowers 1.4". And if i do get the sportlines will it rub with the 225/40/18 tire.. Any help would be great

Ok I read the other post, but do I have a chance of rubbing or hitting when it comes to bumps n stuff with the 225/40/18 tires?? If there is anyone that has The Sportlines with the 225/40/18 tire PLEASE REPLY.. I just dont want the car to be problems driving it all the time.. One more thing how can I know the offset for the rims that I have?

i just put my pro kits on and love it. i have an EX with stock rims for now and it has decreased my gap fairly well. and ill be getting 18's with the same size tires. but as far as i know a lot of people run both springs with that size tires.
and it depends on how you wanna drive. those with the sportlines have reported rubbing occasionally. for me, i dont wanna have to worry about it.
gl on your decision!
