Tien flex with EDFC motors

I was looking at these for my 08 si, they seem raw but what are the chances of me hittin a pothole and shattering one of those motors. Reliability? help make my decision easier please

You don't need the EDFC. You aren't going to break it from hitting a pot hole either. What makes you think that was a possibility in the frist place? Put the 400 towards tires.

I have that setup. Only use it if you are picky about the ride quality. I soften if up when I have a non-enthusiast in the car (such as my g/f). and the ride is pretty comfortable. The EDFC motors sit on top of the strut, so there's no way they'd break by hitting anything. Not sure what gave you the idea that they'd break, but they won't break from something like that. If you really want it, I'd keep an eye out for a used one or something b/c $400 is real steep for the new ones.
