Lowering Springs
So im looking into dropping my si. I was looking at skunk2 and tien s techs. My question is would I be ok just installing the springs and nothing else? How long would my stock shocks last before I needed to replace them?

Ive already searched and could not find a direct answer to my questions. I don't believe any of those threads answered how long my stock shocks would last. Most were informative regarding the available options but not whether just springs would be sufficient for now. I understand the title of my thread was very generic but by question was not.

Yes, because from my understanding you can just toss springs on a car and lower it but it will eventually blow out the stock shocks, i figure if they go out i just put the stock springs back on and go to the dealership. I intend to get after market shocks when i can afford, or coilovers, but for the time being i can just get springs.
