Hit a big ol' pot hole and now my car pulls

Hi all! I'm located in DFW and after the storms we had last week I hit this huge pot hole near my house. I blew out my front right tire so i replaced it. After that my car was pulling to the right so I got an alignment which helped my car drive straight, but the car is still pulling to the right when I accelerate. Do you guys have any recommendations as to where I should go to get this fixed? I'm pretty clueless and could use some help.
Thanks,
-Peter

If, after an alignment, it still pulls to the right I would venture a guess that you bent something in the steering geometry. Can you get underneath the car to have a look? Even if you can't fix it yourself, it's always better to take it to a shop armed with knowledge.

How old were your tires/tread life?

Did you only replace the one tire?

Does it mainly pull when you brake or accelerate?

Switch both front wheels with both back wheels. If the problem persists after that, then bring it to your dealer.

Both the above suggestions could be the culprit. Another thing to consider. After the tire blew, did you do any driving with it before the tire was replaced? If you put the spare on, did you pull a tire from the rear and put the spare there? If you drove with the spare on the front, you could have messed up your VSA/traction control.

You also might have messed up the LSD. if you put the spare on the front on a SI.

Hey all! After I hit the pot whole I pulled into a parking lot and put on the spare tire. I had about 8500 miles on my tires and I only drove about 2 miles on the spare tire on the front. Unfortunately i don't have anyway to get under my car at the moment (i don't have a garage until I get married in Sept.) I'm going to take the car to a shop here in lewisville Tx who my fiance' uses (he's going to diagnose the problem for free. I'll let you know what he comes back with tomorrow!! Thanks so much for all the input.

Should I have put the back tire on the front and driven with the spare in the back? I'll feel really stupid If I didn't read something and messed up my car!

Oh yes it is Godzuki! It's actually my nickname up here at work. They call my boss "godzilla" and me "godzuki" b/c i'm the younger version of him. It's kinda funny. I'm actually a 25 yr old white guy from DFW

Yeah you're supposed to run the spare only in the rear, says so in the manual too, so in your case you would have to swap one of the rear to the front and then the spare onto the rear.
