Question what is exactly the camber kit for?

hey, i have a doubt... i'm also using lowering springs on my car but dont have the camber kit... what is exactly the camber kit for?

you have to buy the camber bolts for the front...and the camber arms or the ingalls adjustable brackets for the back.

geez..

Camber kit is useful only when you're not able to reduce negative camber correctly with stock adjustments.

Camber will NOT wear your tires faster unless you only drive in straight line (-2.5° and less is fine..)

Camber kit is not needed for mild drop.

Zero front camber will kill your handling.

People who get camber kits either:

1. Want better handling characteristics, so they dial in a more aggressive custom alignment; ie. more negative camber in the front than the rear. Some even add to a stock suspension, for that same reason. Custom alignment to dial out some of the factory understeer. Reduces inside tire tread life. Frequent tire rotations suggested.

2. Want stock alignment specs so tires wear as if still running stock suspension.

3. Using a rim width and offset that forces one to need to run more negative camber.

4. Combination of 1 and 3.

uhhh..no incorrect..a 2.5 neg camber cuts tire life by 25%, and as for alignment issues hondas come with NO rear adjustment. So if the car is lowered you are throwing the alingment off a good bit. On top of that a basic lowering kit offers between 1 an 2 inches of drop which can throw a car off by as much as -5 degrees of camber which now would shorten life to 50%, along with the fact that honda had issues with people having abnormal tire wear right from the factory, in which some people were buning up tires in less than 5,000 miles due to the rear control arms. Up front alignment bolts are smart since I run -1 and with coilovers with the stock settings couldnt get in that far, I had to use them....so your info is wrong..
