Eibach Sportlines strut spacers

I installed my Eibach Sportlines 3 days ago. I bought them used with 2k miles and the rear is like 1 1/2 fingers higher than the front ( i cant even fit 1 finger in the front ).

I cut all the bumpstops and installed the springs with lettering rightside up like the instructions said.

I would like to know it this could be the cause of the uneven drop:

The springs brought this spacers to be put in the front strut:

I forgot to put them on... Could this be the reason why the front is lower than the back? Any adverse effects of not installing this on the strut shaft?

This is how the car is right now:

Hanky, lettering is supposed to be right side up NOT upside down. Also, those spacers are for the rear not the front. I assume you drilled the old spacers on your stock rear shocks in order to get the bump stops, well these replace them.

Ooops! wrote the post in a hurry since I had to go to work. I did install the springs with the lettering rightside up.

As for the bump stops, I bought my car with 6500 miles Certified Pre-Owned, and it seems like the previous owned had put lowering springs and then put back the stock ones because the front bump stops were cut so I assumed the back was done also so I didn't take down the back shocks.

Well, this eliminates the possibility these spacers are the reason why the front end is lower than the back...

Is this normal? I've searched and the only thing I've read is one corner of the rear being higher than the rest on the Pro-Kit, but no issues on SportLines... How come my drop is uneven?

Well for starters you're definitely going to want to check the measurement on the front bump stops and make sure they are cut to the proper length. Also, you're going to want to cut the rears.

This is what my car looked like with the springs....

Yea, I WISH my car sat all arround like that lol!! But anyways the look is growing on me. I thought my case an exeption but I hear its not uncomon for the sportlines to be uneven like that. Im starting to think its actually a good thing since I'll be getting a GReedy Ti-C catback and having a little extra clearence is less likely to scratch it.

Thanks ocdcivic you've been awesome. Thanks to ppl like you forums are a great place

Bump stops have no effect on ride height (unless car is sitting on them, then that will be the least of your problems), but does have an effect on damper travel when using lowering springs. They also are active bump stops meaning they can have an effect on the way the vehicle behaves when the damper compresses to the bump stop and cutting them changes the rate of the bump stop.

I say follow the directions Eibach suggests about cutting the bump stops.

Obviously as mentioned the collars are for the rear dampers. They replace the factory collar that the dimples need to be drilled in order to remove it. Once that slides off you can remove the damper dust cover tube and have access to your rear bump stop. Carefull drilling, if you drill the collar too deep, you will be drilling into the shaft of the damper.

Keep in mind that I did have the springs paired with Tokico Blues which I belive gave a little bit more of a drop.

Not a problem at all, although I still don't understand why you have such a significant difference. As Xtreme states above bump stops don't effecet the ride height unless fully compressed but I would still check everything and make sure its inline with Eibach's specs.

Just thought of something else. Make sure the rubber gromet on the rear shock is properly inserted to the body of the car along with the collar in the center. You may have it pinched or the washers on in a different variation then original. Loook at a parts diagram and ensure everything is exactly back to the way it came out.
