Rear camber

I know its a must to get camber kits when/if you lower your car, but is the rear AS necessary as the front?

The stupid kits are $169 EACH SIDE! WTF... That's seriously $338 USD I don't have. But then again, that's the cost of the tires if I don't get the rear kit.

Is the back as necessary ?

Site sponsor Corsport has them for $260 US shipped, +$20 US to ship to Canada.

Thats for both sides as the post below says.

You don't need the front. You do need the rear. I saw them for 199 for the set. Let me look for the site. I just got my springs yesterday and am ordering the camber kit next week due to low funds

must have been a sale....can't find it

That's crazy prices. It's probably because our cars are new and no one else makes those kits, so companies can charge whatever the flub they want.

Remember when custom tail lights came out for our cars? $328 I remember a dude on ebay listing them. Now they're $180 because a few more are listing them.

I hope by March they'll be cheaper :)

Darryl.

I think I'm going to wait a bit for the camber kit. I want to get new tires after winter anyways. Will install the springs next week. CorSport is the cheapest though

Gotta distinguish: camber arms or camber bolts?

Bolts are for the front. Arms are for the back.

And what do endlinks do? if you get lowering springs, and dont get a camber adjustment kit, then over time the rear, the front or both front and rear will go out of alignment? so im just saying because, once i get my SI and sportline springs what else do i need to get to make it sit right?

When you install your springs WITHOUT the camber kit, and get an alignment, things can still be out a little. Some places won't even try to align without a camber kit if the specs are whacked. But then again, some places will compensate and adjust other crap for the lack of proper camber.

Springs, camber kit (F&R) and alignment. Then you're set. An alignment once a year will be your best bet :)

makes the car a tad harder to drive in the winter because you hit a snow pile infront oo you and kinda bottom out on the snow.

I know because when i had my teg lowered i was leaving a station after it snow and i got stock on the snow. like the car kinda was on it belly and would move my friend had to come out and push.

well i have extra money so ima do it any way

and by the camber kit in the spring

I had no problems whatsoever in the snow in my previous cars Ive owned. It is actually proven safer to drive a more lower vehicle because of the lower centre of gravity. No weight transfer = better control :)
