It is wrongly installed. Flip the bar to have the "U" bar at both ends facing up not down.

Yea I remember reading that the guy who installed it on FGcoupe did the same thing and mentioned it was way to close to his exhaust. Flipped it upside down and it was perfect.

I was the person who installed it wrong.

Flip it around and you'll have a crap-ton more clearance, and the car will handle a little better too.

were any additional parts needed for the bar or did it come with everything? I know people say you need to upgrade the endlinks... anything else? What about a Tie Bar? Anything available for the SI?

I emailed Progress and they said you do not have to upgrade the endlinks. I have driven mine hard on the curviest road in America several times and they haven't broke yet.

Everything you need for the bar is in the box. It comes with the bar, two 2-piece bushings, grease, and maybe some bolts but I don't remember.

I've always read that adding sway bars is more of a balance thing. Adding one to the rear stiffens it up and makes the car more willing to rotate. Anyone with more knowledge please step up and correct me if I'm wrong.
