SI stock AXLES?

ok what I want to know is how good are the stock axles on the SI?

How long will they last with lowering springs?

Also, are there any plans on aftermarket performance axles?

any help much appreciated.

I honestly dunno if any are available, but I think Driveshaft Shop does custom driveshafts. I also believe they are working on stages 1-3 or something like that. Your springs will go out before your axles will. I know of a few RSX-S' running around 600+hp/500lb.ft and driven hard on a regular basis with the stock axles.

SHit man the only reason I'm asking is because something is making poping noises when i turn slowly backing up or moving forward slowly around 5 mph.

Don't really know what it is: could it be because I didnt cut the bumper stop when I installed the STECHs?

Or is it something else? Let me know bud. Thanks

Also, I am still selling these: http://www.8thcivic.com/forums/showthread.php?t=14956

i don't think it's anything to worry about...

the spring turning after installing new springs is VERY common. it will do it and then slowly go away. the spring has to find "its" position and once it seats it will be fine. it usually isn't the strut making the sound. either way its not a big deal. your fine. if it still does it a few weeks done the line look into it more.
