Eibach Sportline vs Tein S.Tech

Tein S.Tech's = $138
Eibach Sportline = $180

BOTH are 1.4"F 1.4"R

Which one shall I get for my 07 Civic Si (when it gets built)

The Sportlines lower the Si a LOT more than the S-Tech's do. The cars are practically tucking wheels in the pictures I've seen.

I have the S-Tech's and the lowering job it does is absolutely perfect. It's low, but not too low. Lowering springs are really not the best way to go about dropping a car, so I didn't want something that would absolutely slam the car because ride-quality drops as well.

I've never been a fan of Eibach myself. Their springs always drop the car uneven and have a bad ride quality, and that's after owning them myself and having multiple friends that own them as well.

I say S-Tech's.

Weird how the sportlines drop too much if both Tein & Eibach are 1.4".

I think I will go with the S.Techs . For one, they're a little less expensive, and two, no one has complained so far.

:) Thanks

I agree. I had the Eibachs on a VW and I didn't like them. The drop was uneven and they rode like crap.

Personally, I'm a huge fan of H&R. I've had their springs on 3 different car (2 Hondas and 1 VW) and they are great. The drop was perfect, they didnt sag and the drop was they way it should be.

For my Si I'm looking at H&R or Progress.

I had a set of H&R's on my B14 Sentra SE 2.0 and loved them to death. If they had been out when I was shopping, I would have bought them so I completely agree with you.

Trust me when I say the Sportlines drop it a little more than the advertised 1.4".

The S-Tech's are a perfect drop, IMO. You'll be happy with them!
