yuppers...i had Eibach 1" on my 1978 Datsun 280Z
which was tricked out, but then some POS staring at girls smoke it. The Z was lowered enough for his Ford Ranger to clear my bumper hitting it square on the tail lights thus writing it off. Man was i ever pissed at his ass, but to top it off he took me to court saying i cut him off, when clearly i had witnesses that seen me at a complete stop making a left into 7Eleven when without any warning (no brakes) a truck smacks me closing me in as it pinched the drivers door shut permanently and shooting glass across my face. He ended up losing the court case as an officer that was at the scene had wrote down what the loser said that horrible night, which was different in court. LMAO!! The ass that hit me told the cops i cut him off, but then in court he told everyone he quickly looked to see some girlz standing on the corner. i laughed so hard when he said that man! Regardless i ended up with a cheque that didnt pay for the car itself nevermind the hop ups that were done to my Z. ...But back on topic here, I was impressed at the overall looks and handling although the Z did have Pirelli Cinterato P7's on it (Rayon) on 16" BBS mesh rims. I fell in love with that car when i seen the bitch sitting on the lot with its 20 coats of laquer paint. So now i cant wait to see my Civic this same way, Just better nobody hits it or ill be goin to jail as i will get out and attack the freak with a tire iron this time.

i believe it was 1" and above that needs a cambering kit. so to your answer your question from what i've read, yes, you need the camber kit.

it really depends on how you drive the car. personally, i probably won't get a camber kit if only 1" but really need to see how the car behaves with that much camber in the rear. an alignment is a good idea though even if you don't get a camber kit so that your toe angles are within tolerance. |

![]() Eibach PRo-kit now installed!! I dont think a camber kit is necassary but i am getting an alignment just for a piece of mind. I never removed the tie-rods so shouldnt be a deal? i removed the struts off the knuckle and obvisouly from the tower, so it was only a matter of a strut-coil tool and impact gun, plus the open end/box ends, etc... |

Lookin good! Nice, subtle drop, just enough to eliminate some of the wheel-well gap. Camber in the rear(judging by the pic) looks ok, similar to stock. I had Sportlines on my Jetta, the negitive camber in back, ate up a pair of tires within a year, not to mention an extremely, stiff, uncomfortable ride. The gap on my Civic is really bugging me, but have been hesitant to drop after my last experience. Perhaps, the Pro-Kit or HFP suspension is the way to go (for me).

i reccomend the Eibach Prokit too anyone wanting
a lower stance but at no cost to the loss of rideability!! And yea...the camber isnt affected from what i know, and with the 18" rims/Pro-kit the wheel gap is literrly gone now which i was looking for but didnt want the wheel completely under the wheel-well. All i want now to complete the appearance is the Seibon EVO hood (on pre-order) which is in R&D right now and some kind of mild side skirts to enhance the body lines. thanks yall' |

sorry to dug up this old thread , but does your civic feel very stiff like if theirs hardly any suspension ? i try to push down to see if i get any conpression but i hardly feel any compared to what it was stock , oviously their has to be diffrent/less conpression cuz i lowerd it but does it have to feel that hard? i also have the eibach pro lowering kit , it was installed on a repuable shop with new tires and wheels 18's 225/40/18ZR Nexen ...... also if i put eibach dampers would it help ? cuz i thought coil overs from tein ss was not only expensive but that i would get worser feel on handling?
