People with lowering springs... How are you stock struts holding up?

So now that the 06 Civics have been available for almost a year, I know from reading the various threads that there are several of you that have lowered your Civics with various springs (Comptech, Tein, Neuspeed, etc).

I am sure there are many of us who are pondering the purchase of springs are wondering how your stock struts are holding up to the extra abuse of the lowering springs.

List your make and model of spring, how long you have had them for and how you think your stock struts are doing.

Did you get camber kits, or are your tires rubbing the inner tread bald?

eibach sportline

I've had them for a month or so now, the only thing I had to do was cut some of the plastic from under the fender because of it rubbing a little on the tire. (keep in mind I have 18” Rims) other than that the springs are holding up really nice.

Mine are long-gone.
S-tech's on FA1 - installed since 1/6/07
I ride on horrendous roads frequently though.
Need better shocks!!!

I'll never lower my car. I've had baaaaad experiences every single time I've done it. It was never immediate but it was always bad. This car handles like a dream from the factory and has quite a rough ride. Honestly, I think people lower for asthetics instead of handling. That seems pointless to me...

Of course, that depends on how low/valving/spring rates. HFP or Mugen complete set-ups FTW.

I have had mine on for a year. I think mine are shot because I cut the bumpstop too much. I did what the directions said, but I think I should have left a little more.

The struts grind in the winter when going over speed bumps..
