Exclamation Camber Kits "waste of money"

I get all of my suspension work done at Miami Chassis and alignment. If you live in Florida then you know they are the best. I got Tein S-Tech's installed (by myself) and spoke to my mechanic who told me that he can do all the camber adjustments without a kit. He told me the kits are good for those guys who autocross and what not who want to change camber by themselves, however, for the people who just need a set, set... then he can do it. I was wondering if some more knowledgable people on this forum can shed some light on this topic. Thank you!

If you have too much Negative camber i dont think there's a way to get back to factory specs unless you use a camber kit

He said I can. He said he does it all the time, on porsches, vw's, lambo's even. This is my point though, it can be done. I personally think camber kits are a waste of money

Well, Honda does make special damper pinch bolts for the front struts that offer a certain amount of camber adjustment. Don't know what can be done about the rear suspension.

I think there's a limit. If you're too far off factory specs cuz of the drop, you'll probably need a camber kit. But i don't know too much

its not the man putting anyone down. Its not spending excess money on parts that may help. If you don't need to be messin with camber all the time then your mechanics (if skillfull enough) can do this.

Unless he's cutting slots or bending metal (which I wouldn't want done to my car) I call

The front is adjusted with crash bolts (very cheap) and the rear is adjusted with adjustable upper control arm cams. Not really a lot of other options.

---not negating anything your saying, however, I wish some1 from miami would shine some light cuz this shop is like getting work done at Unique Autosports. My point is, they are truly the best and I don't get why my mechanic would bullshit me on this. If I needed them he would tell me to go buy them then he would use them to adjust camber. Told me he didn't need them to adjust the camber.

Will Castro says you need gold plated diamond encrusted camber bolts for only $3,999. WHAT A STEAL

You know the scenario, the phone calls that hang up, she starts wearing nice clothes to work and talking about him all the time then abruptly stops leaving an uncomfortable silence.
If im out in the garage when she gets home (usually after midnight) he just drops her off and leaves, but if the lights are off in the garage and Im in the house (they think Im sleeping) they sit out in the car for like twenty minutes.

I asked her once what they were doing, and she said
"Just talking" ....whatever. So last night I decided to see whats really going on out there. So I leave the garage door open ,and turn off all the lights.
About the time she usually gets home,I go out in the garage and wait.. In a few minutes, his car pulls into my driveway, and Im hiding behind my Si. When his headlights shine through my garage and onto the car, I see something that I just couldn't believe. The rear camber is severely wearing my rear tires. Now i have to get a rear camber kit, Should i get the skunk2 or spc?

When was the last time you saw anybody at UA do anything mechanical to a car. All I've ever seen those guys do is put ugly rims on cars, build stereo equipment, then charge somebody $100,000 dollars for it.

yea you dont have to have a camber kit but what they do is put little shims in to correct it. but thats ridiculously ghetto man, and could be unpredictable.

Ive been using TEIN S-Techs for over a year now and hondas had my car in +1 camber all around with no issues what so ever. No camber kits or anything. No shims either.
