suspension advice
Hi all, I was looking into giving my car a drop and was thinking of ways to do this. First of all Im looking to give my car a nice clean drop, no slammed style. Ride comfort is VERY IMPORTANT to me, I could really care less of handling as long as it stays to stock status as I am already happy with the handling, I dont track or auto cross jus use this car as a DD hence why riding comfort is more important than handling for me. I was thinking of either getting new shocks and buying springs or should I jus buy the Skunk2 S coilover kit or maybe jus get the HFP suspension ( drop may be too subtle for me though ) . Looking for a drop of around the 1.5 inch range. Thanks for all the imput

If you want to keep the same ride quality I wouldnt go with the Pro-S coilover kit. I have it, and it is quite a bit stiffer than stock. Your best bet if ride quality is a concern is to go with eibach sportline springs. They have a 1.4 inch drop

ya I was thinking to get springs at first but after talking to a couple ppl and reading about only using spring, it doesn seem like a good idea for the long run. Thats why I was considering getting a coilover so I can jus put back the stock springs and struts when I decide to trade the car in once i paid it off but thats not gonna be for awhile now. I mean ride comfort is a big deal for me but I thnk I can deal with the stiffness if it would lead me to the right direction on how to properly drop my car.

I just installed some on Joeys car and on my 93 Accord. I have nothing but good things to say.
I installed Joeys on his HFP springs and it drives just like my Mugen. Nice and stiff but comfortable enough to use for a DD
