Carbring Strut Tower Bar

CARBRING TOWER BAR FOR 06 SI
The Carbing Tower Bar is a completely welded piece (no pivot points) with a 5mm thick base plate, which makes it truly functionally in reducing chassis flex.
It is constructed of A6063S aluminum for superior rigidity and light weight.
The built-in brake master cylinder stopper allows the driver increased brake pedal feel which gives the driver greater control.
This two in one bar is not only fully functional but is also beautifully crafted.

CA 624 226 0L T HONDA CIVIC FG2 Ft 06+ *1 D 300.00

I saw this on TEINS webpage and was wondering if anybody has it, and what are your thoughts about this. Its $300 which is kinda pricey for a STB and seems to be a pain in the butt to install! However you get the built-in brake master cylinder stopper which is cool.

look on the page again, the *1 means it doesnt have the built-in brake master cylinder stopper. can someone tell me what this does by not having the built-in brake master cylinder stopper compared to all the other carbing strut bars. the bar u can get on inlinefour.com for $285 btw

a bar is a bar but carbing is flossin. i was going to order the carbing bar along with hawk hps pads right now but i would rather upgrade wheels and tires first... right now im on all seasons and they dont feel too great. i found it similar deciding on the progress sway bar vs. tanabe underbrace...

if it had the master cylinder bar it would prevent firewall flex due to brake pressure.

Hey man how do you like the underbrace? Do you think it's worth the money? Does it block any clearance to anything under the engine (i.e filter access)? I was interested in this part, but I didn't hear any reviews.

After looking at the close up picture posted in the forsale thread I am thinking Wow those nuts threaded on the bolt that comes from the strut through the chassis and brace do not look like they are threaded on far enough for me to feel comfortable. I am interested to see if there will be any issues when this bar is used in conjunction with the stock struts. I am assuming the stock struts where used in the picture provided.

haven't driven my car since the underbrace. but i've seen it on...it doesn't block anything...it sits behind the engine, kinda like below ur sitting position. actually right infront my seat positiong but just behind the engine kinda...

don't block or hinder anything...uses the stock bolts to attatch.

haven't driven car yet cuz it's on the lift getting other stuff done :)

it rides great...i love it.

the edfc is no longer in the same position as in the cardomain pics.

no clue where it's been mounted...i know though that gauges are in the position the edfc was...

^Good catch, fixed. I SWEAR tanabe's page had that listed for the civic and not the si -- weird.
