Comptech rear sway bar for Si

Any of you guys tried the the Comptech rear sway bar? I like the idea of having some adjustability, plus its cheaper than the Progess rear bar. Should I just stick with the Progress rear bar? I plan on Autocrossing next year, I read that the rear bar is a great mod.

Thanks

I have no experience with the bar, but it looks a little less effective.
The bar is 65% stiffer than stock in the stiffest position, but the Progress is about 80%.
Plus, the Progress bar has poly bushings which deflect less and should transfer forces better.

Now if it were a 22mm or larger adjustable bar... sign me up!

The problem with all these bars is the brackets on the lower control arms. Unless you fabricate a new attachment bracket on the control arms, you will rip the factory mounts right off with the larger bar.

I think you'll only rip them off if you track or auto-x the car. Ive had my progress bar running for a long time and given it a lot of abuse (not on a track, though) and it hasnt ripped.

Also... I dont think the CT bar is available yet. They announced it coming soon, but I dont think its officially released.

Didn't Progress fix this issue already?

All I know is I ripped mine off driving to and from work on the street. Zero hard driving at all. How would progress fix the problem? Include gusset plates for the factory mounts to be welded on with the installation of the sway bar?

even with the progress bar and end links. its still not that stiff. Im used to running 23-24mm

i used the reinforce brackets also so i dont have to worry about the endlink bracket ripping off.

with my other cars 23-24 mm i used to get lift oversteer. now im not sure i can get that with the 22mm progress bar, but i havent been to a road course lately since bar installation to push the car.

I would def recommend getting endlinks becuase it makes the sway bar more effective a difference at least I could feel. without the endlink its a little more sloppy feeling. but if youre just driving on the streets it doesnt matter i guess.

im not sure how much the comptech bar is but on ebay i got my progress for 150 shipped
