Tokico Shocks

thought i'd check their website and sure enough, HP and D-Specs are in development.

http://tokicogasshocks.com/app/12a.html

this is great cuz i had D-Specs on my 03 Civic and they handled awesome.

i had tokico illumina r coilovers on my accord and it was the best setup i have ever used. I hat to say it but to me they were better than the tein setup. Other than the edfc of course b/c thaty is just badass.

honestly speaking, there are many better setups than TEIN unless
you get lucky and get spring rates that are ideal for our roads.

TEIN seems to like to match up parts from other cars and see if it
works at the expense of the customer. sometimes it works great,
some of them are just a pos setup... like ive seen 500lbs/in coilovers
for a 2800-3000lbs car for street? come on, that's frikken waaay
too stiff. ive had TypeHA's NA's and numerous s-tech springs in
the past on different cars.

for our civics id be looking for springs in the 225-250lbs/in range
and run D-Specs to tighten it all down. i can tell you from experience
on other cars that this rate would be most idea for daily driven cars.
comfy/firm but not jarring nor sloppy. you can even run 18's and still
feel comfy.

i know i'm bringing back my old thread, but the part numbers are out for the HTS adjustable dampening struts/shocks.

Part Numbers:

HTS510FR
HTS510FL
HTS510R (x2)

for the kit its HTS510. not sure if the kit comes with springs.

http://www.hitachi-hap-la.com/Tokico...08_CATALOG.pdf scroll down to Honda Civic 06 or go to Page 14 at the bottom.

its pretty much to your preference really on what springs you want to run.

whenever these are out i'm gonna pair them with Swift springs.

i think the D-Specs are the HTS. the HTS though are red.

i'm sure they'll be out soon.

These shocks haven't been released yet. TOKICO USA will have them in October or so.

good enough for me. i plan on buying these during the winter to put on in the spring.

let us know when you have them up and maybe pair them up with the SPC camber kit and choice of springs.

i say choice of springs cuz you dont have swift springs so i'll have to get them from somewhere else.
