Camber Problem!!!HELP!!

Took my car in for an alignment today due to me getting 18" rims and dropping my car on the Buddyclub N+ Coilovers. I have the rear SPC arms and the front SPC camber bolts. And the techs there were able to adjust the rear fine, but the front wheels didnt adjust very well. They were able to adjust the toe, but my drivers side camber is at -2.5 degrees, and thats the max positive it will go. The passenger side max negative was 0 degrees. The techs also told me that the front camber bolts added nothing to my drivers side and only .5 to my passenger side. I was wondering if anyone else had problems with the SPC front camber bolts, as they're suppose to adjust + or - 1.75 degrees in camber. My other question was is there any way in installing the front coilover set in a way were it will throw the camber way negative, as my drivers side wheel has so much more camber than the other. Please HELP!!!

Did your coilovers come with camber plates and how many camber bolts per side do you have in the front?

Might be a cruddy shop that doesn't know what they're doing. The bolts should provide +/- 1.5 degs of adjustment--which usually ends up to like 1-1.5 degrees. You can also get two sets of camber bolts, which is what I did.

I was there when they were doing the fronts, and to adjust the camber, ur suppose to just spin the bolt around right? And when we were turning the bolt, the camber didnt move at all on the drivers, and only 0.5 degrees on the passanger.

I dont think its suppose to be on the bottom of the two holes, both Diy's on this forum as well as the instructions said on top.

did you put the washer with the tab in properly also. because that can have a big effect. I had one camber bolt and was fine so was my camber after i recently installed my second set.

thats what i had a problem understand, what does that washer do? And on both sides, is the washer suppose to be on the left side when looking at it? Is everyone else with these front camber bolts able to adjust their camber very effectively?

since your coils did not come with camber plate, i suggest buying another set of camber bolts, which means two bolts on each side to dial out more +camber.

The bolts work, yours just must be installed incorrectly or the techs are idiots.

tredd, which alignment shop did you go? Bolts should work fine. I had the same
problem before coz the guy doesnt know what to do so i brought it to a different shop. As far as where the bolts go, it should be on the top.

hmm i might have installed them incorrectly then, which way did you guys install the tabs? With the tabs facing the rear? Or are they facing the front of the car?

If you followed the DIY it should be fine. Unless your guy doesnt know what he is doing. try to dial the negative camber yourself its pretty easy to understand the geometry of what your doing if you modulate the bolt and see what it does.

the problem with all the diy's though is that they dont show you how to adjust the camber, they just show how to install, and yea after i figure out how to use them, i can probably just set it myself. I was thinking that because i didnt loosen the bottom bolt, it wouldnt let me adjust my camber. I just took out the top and put the SPC one in, anyone know if i was suppose to loosen the bottom one?
