It's not that simple. There are a lot of choices.

It depends how you drive, and how you want the car to perform. Some people are simply more interested in how the car looks.

Suspension modifications can be expensive. You should take the time to decide what you want from your car, and research all of the choices. Otherwise, you will spend money on stuff that won't give you the results you are looking for.

Good luck

thank you!
haha, that's all i was really asking for, i'm just so confused, and don't know everything yet, and never will..
But, i just don't want to make a poor choice, because i know i'll have my civic for a while, and i want to personalize it just like i want..
I'll make sure to do all the research needed

ok now to help the op...

there are many options when it comes to modding your suspension... you just have to know what you will be doing most of the time (@ a track or daily driving). then just figure out your preference. Ask yourself, do you want a comfortable ride or a tight suspension? Do you want to adjust height?

There are plenty of options (on brands and stuff). You can always go for just a drop with adding different springs. Or you can control your ride height with coilovers. If you buy springs and keep your stock shocks be sure to know that those wont last long... maybe a year depending on your driving. and you will need to buy a new set of shocks for front and back. If you get coilovers you wont have to buy shocks cause its a complete kit, but its also a little more expensive. however, with coilovers you can adjust height and some kits offer shock damper adjustment... so you can adjust how hard or soft your suspension feels....

camber kits are a different thing... they are mostly for wheel alignment... it prevents your tires from touching the road "the wrong way"... you buy these and adjust them once you install your new suspension... its basically to get your wheels and tires to a "normal" position for daily driving... there is lots of info on this forum you can search up more through it...

hope it helped some... i tried being simple and maybe skipped a few things...

The biggest thing is to figure out what you want to do with the car first. Then read up and figure out what type of suspension will deliver this for you. Then once you do that, you have to use the camber kits to adjust your wheels to better deliver what you are looking for.

nothing wrong with wanting to upgrade your ride having 16 yrs... or any age for that matter

order type-r suspension. or get mugen suspension. don't buy damper systems. go buy type-r sway bars. that's it if you want to be street legal. with more suspension componants that you have the crapier your car will run, but you can corner slightly better. at the end you still drive a front engine front wheel drive. I say it is not worth the money to go all out. Just think of it in this way. no matter how much you fix your car's suspension you will never beat a ferrari 430 or a nissan gtr around a track.

Way to spread poor information. I'm sure that's all the help he needed.
