I have HFP suspension on my 4 door. at first i was a little dissapointed at the ride height, but then i gave it a few days to settle and it looks really good now, well balanced ride, the wheel gap is approx. 2 fingers all around. i'll try to find some pics with them on my car

And I like that I have yet to scrape my HFP body kit on a speedbump.

I can easily tell that it is not on stock suspension.

Thanks for the pics

Ya, but someone with springs can say.."once you've seen your car lowered with springs...it will look so good...the handling doesn't even matter anymore" lol

^^...? didnt even get that one lol nice try but ok lol the point of my line was to say the springs make it look so good, you will not want it any higher even if it does mean better handling....and lowering springs are suspension bro..they DO improve handling over stock; havent you seen Tein products for example S techs and how they say improved handling and a great way to improve your suspension!(its not an entire suspension kit, but part of it so it is considered a suspension upgrade, so to say their just called lowering springs instead of suspenion is wrong) If u have heard they make ur handling worse and that they are not part of suspension then you have been informed incorrectly..they do lower your car but that is not the whole point of them, and like someone said if someone wants to just lower their car without money, they would cut stock springs(which is bad)...and once again its not like I don't know what Im saying, this is what I have learned and read/studied over time...only reason I made this thread was to see what people think about their HFP suspension and to see how I can respond to their replies

lol try using some tein springs up in the mountains or on the track. GG when you lose some control of the car cuz your shocks can't support the springs. And saying that you wont care about handling after seeing the drop done to the car is completely opionated. Don't try and pass it off to other people.

Manufacturers say alot of things, don't believe it all. ( IE. exhuast = +12HP! err no )

I think springs can improve your handling slightly because they will lower your car's center of gravity, but it won't be anything compared to a kit.

thats why i will most likely get the hfp kit, because i know that it is engineered for the car, not just slapped together by some cheap aftermarket company that doesn't really design them for the specific car.

cheap aftermarket company lol im pretty sure Tein spends enough time on their springs so nothing happens to them cause if it did, their company would be getting their butts screwed....and I never said springs make it handle better than a suspension set...all i was trying to prove is taht they DO improve handling and are part of a suspension upgrade..and no im not passing it off to people..i was responding to someone's earlier qoute who was passing it to other people....no GG will happen if somehow I lose control of the car...Tein designed them to work with aftermarket OR OEM shocks read this thread..it shows u how others agree with me about springs bro
Springs will eventually ruin your Car?

My HFP springs in the back are starting to squeak again. They did it the first day I had them in and then went away for a few months, and now it's back

sorry to burst your bubble but tein's products have been tried and tested by people on this site and the conclusion is that tein did horrible r&d and due to that they have crappy coilovers for our car. the springs? i have no idea but i doubt they're much better. Btw, got a chance to do a long talk with some one who works for tein and he even told me how cheap many of their products are. Had some of their product on his na miata and hated it.

Everyone needs to get off this tein caravan, its all over that stupid little mascot thing. Good advertising ftw!

wont believe it till I hear or see it for myself...I know companies that are the most popular and most used worldwide are not cheap...their springs are much better than say skunk2 or other ones

I have had the HFP kit on mine since I picked it up and I love it. No problems at all so far. I'm still thinking about adding progress front and rear sway bars and well see what else I can do. But it's great for normal driving and then a lot more.

The HFP is the Real-Deal, the Progress-bar was just a big band-aid. I personally believe that, by design, the Pro-bar generates greater loads than the mounting points were designed to handle. And, the HFP does it's job, it give's the car crisp enough handling on it's own. So, since my Civic is just my DD and I don't need "at the edge of adhesion" handling, I may sell my pro-bar(I said may) and work with a combination of Si and Ex bars to find the best roll-couple balance. But either way, I love this mod and I trust that Honda has tuned everything to make it the best suspension package for the street.

BTW, I installed the kit myself and It only took me 4 hours. Anybody that has a good back, power tools and no kids can easily knock 1.5 hours off that time. haha
