Well the Pro S and HFP suspension would be around the same price for me and if they both will stiffen up the ride and the Pro S's are adjustable, then why not get those.

love the HFP suspension
had a chance to test it a little bit today

car definitely hugs curves better now, much less body roll and im diggin the sprotier look. the car rides slightly rougher, but if you stay on city streets youll be fine.

get this suspension, its great.

to me, if you go any lower than the hfp kit, you will constantly have to pay attention to where you park and how far you pull in, cause at stock ride height i have been very close to rubbing the front bumper on curbs. i don't think its worth all the effort to be as low as possible knowing that you will scrape more often. just my .02.

I personally hate wheel well gaps, but i try not to do anything that will sacrifice performance for looks.

anyways, pro s or hfp? which handles better or the they the same? The ultimate question!

exactly man! Ive seen some pics on this site with some FG2's lowered about 2inches or more and looks reallllly good (and they say the coupe has alot of clearance so its able to go that low and still be safe) so im thinking about the HFP suspension or the Pro S since they will be same price range for me; the Pro S will be about 100+ more than the HFP... whats your guys' opinions???

HFP will be covered under warranty, will provide better handling, and is cheaper than some kits. Other kits might provide more of the "dropped" effect.

There are so many pro's/con's... it all comes down to your wallet size, how much of a drop you want, and how important handling is to you.

Remember only if you get it installed by the dealer....you won't get it covered by warranty if it was installed improperly by non-Dealer and if something happens to go wrong.

^someone said you still get a warranty, but it's for not as long.

There is no benefit in the warranty if you have to get it installed. Hell it will almsot cost double if you get it installed by the dealer.

my understanding from reading various suspension threads is that if you just want to "drop" your car or if you do serious tracking, then go for the pro s or whatever else kits there are out there. but if you don't know much about fine tuning suspensions and want something to improve your handling for daily driving and occasional fun, then hfp is what you want.

i've been researching the HFP and pro s coilovers, and from what i've read, the pro s are designed for daily driving and spirited driving.

imo, im goin to go with pro s coilovers since its height adjustable. but i remembered i read somewhere on these boards that they're not too stiff and they feel great for daily driving.

Even if you install HFP by yourself it will be covered under warranty. The only issue would be if you have a problem and they can link it DIRECTLY to your installation faults.

just what I needed to hear D-Rew lol i Love what you get with the HFP but the Pro S seems more like what I want since I want the car to be lowered, even though it may cost $100 more

wrong----if you don't have the installation done by a Honda dealership, you have no warranty for the HFP setup or any problems caused by lowering the car (bad tire wear, premature bushing wear, power steering failure, etc)
My friend is a Honda ASE mechanic and he knows the Honda rederick when it comes to this stuff...

I think that it's worth it to pay $400 for a dealer installation that would include an allingment and proper rear camber adjustment when possible.

They usually give you a warranty for the allignment job and they will warrant the labor and the parts.

On a different note, unless you are a complete idiot, this install is a slam dunk...especially the rear...the help of a friend would be beneficial but not necessary.

well i'm pissed. Just when I thought I knew which ones to get I'm back a square one.

I guess I'll have to do some more research and see some reviews of the Skunk2's

I wish there would be some official thing in writing or somewhere about how this warrently works out.

One of the big bonuses of getting the HFP is in fact the warranty.
