Yeah; those settings are going to understeer like crap... those ratios I would run right back and at least get camber bolts done now.

camber is at:
FL: +0.2" FR: +0.1"
LR: -0.9" RR: -0.5"

so eventually im goign to get adjustable front and rear camber and go with the specs that highrev suggest in his suspension post.

guys this is whats been happening lately...my bud's sti just got lowered about 2in. or more and it looks soooo good. So I have been looking up the skunk 2 pro S coilovers for $700, and they say it is really good for the money. Its adjustable and stiffens it up pretty well from what I've heard and ya the .8in drop from the HFP is slightly noticable but when I saw that 2in on the sti compared to what it was before...i need more than just an inch lol I dunno though you guys all say HFP is sooo good but I want to make it look better and since Im not having honda install it which takes away the whole issue about the warranty, I might as well spend an extra 100 and get the skunk2 to get what I want; wouldn't you guys agree??

if you want the more lower look go for it. but as far as handling goes I think HFP has the edge.

Could anyone chime in on this?

Price completely out of the question as ican get the s2s's for the same price.

I would really like close to a 1.5 drop for looks but if the HFP is the better suspension in terms of handling then i would prefer to get it instead.

Kind of figured they were equal in performance but the s2 had the ability to adjust height.

Info GREATLY appreciated!

I don't believe the Pro-S coilovers are adjustable.

The Pro S are height adjustable just can't change the shock.

Almost 99% on this..

Yeah, I was guessing. You're right:
Pro*S*Coilovers

Though, I'll take damper rates over lowering any day.

I think just about anyone would.

My comparasion was simply that pro s coilovers could have the same positive affect as the hfp with the benefit of height adjustability as well. Don't think it was hard to catch no?

Anyways, i'm on an 18y/o's budget i cant afford pro c's as of yet and need something better then stock by mid july.

Hope you wern't trying to put words into my mouth ^^

I don't put words into people's mouths.

Anyway, with your budget, you can't go wrong with HFP; you probably won't go wrong with the Pro-Ss either, is the bottom line. The HFPs will be more budget-friendly, for sure.

I love my HFP suspension.

One question though I guess in a few years when I need to replace the HFP struts will I be able to order just the HFP struts? Is there a part number just for them. It's a while down the road but the thought crossed my mind.

Well i would have to buy a camber kit right away if i get Pro S's but other then that i can get the coilover for only about 50$ more. And a camber kit would be reccomended with the hfp as well. Wish the price could make the decision for me but its simply not much of a factor.

Don't think so.

Some spare bolts and such, maybe:

Lets just hope that there will be many more suspension options for us. Mainly in the shock department where we really have no love yet from any big names.

I hear ya. If I had the choice between a low budget HFP suspension, I would either do that or shell out for a better suspension setup later.

Frankly, at your age (and take it as you want, or don't), I'd save your money, invest it, and make your money work for you, to buy whatever you want in five years. Just my thoughts, worth what you paid for. :)

Haha thats right up my way. Thing is, with me being a noob with stocks and them not exactly doing their best since late last year i decided to sell most of what i have invested and am just putting it into my car.

I'll start investing back in the market when things are looking up. And i'll start saving for that in about a year when my car is complete <33

( the money will just go to a nice car like a fairlady or rotory. So i guess its not exactly well spent )

All good, just remember to start saving, even if it's pennies while you build your car. You'll thank me when you're in your late-30s.
