if you guys want to "lower" your car then just get aftermarket springs or adjustable coilovers...

the HFP suspension's drop to a lot of people look stock...your paying for the performance not the look...i believe the drop was .8" - 1.0"...

It does enhance the look of the car. It's one of those 'can put your finger on it' enhancements. Very subtle but overall makes your car more aggressive.

It is. But I want to lower my car about an inch. So right now I am debating the HFP or Eibach Pro-Kits. Pro-Kits would be less and give about .2" more of a drop, but the HFP is covered under warranty and handles well.

remember only if you install it by the dealer....but if i were you just get the HFP because you'll eventually have to replace those shocks from just getting lowering springs...also you will handle much much better with HFP...

So how does the warrenty work.

Is it still in effect if you install is or you do HAVE to to have it installed by the dealer?

welp, installed the HFP this morning.
all went well - just followed the insturctions - definatelly a DIY'er - not worth paying the dealership the $1400 that they quoted me! only took a lil over 3hrs.

drop is slightly noticable - i have only drivin it a few miles on city roads, my ride quality is still there - i really cant tell alot of differance - but then i havent really tested it out - i do still have some body roll - suppose i will install a rear sway..

so all in all, DIY its perty simply you just need the tools that the CHH instructions recommend - i did it with a hydraulic floor jack and 1 jack stand.

ok. i got some time to drive it around a lil more - it did stiffen my ride up just a little bit and it does handle better on curves - it seems

just got back from an alignment - only adjusted toe b/c i dont have adj camber kits yet.
camber is at:
FL: +0.2" FR: +0.1"
LR: -0.9" RR: -0.5"

so eventually im goign to get adjustable front and rear camber and go with the specs that highrev suggest in his suspension post.

It seems? So the handling difference isn't that noticeable from stock?

Oh, it noticeable. Trust me. Completely different from stock. After driving my hfp installed si for the past 18 months, I finally drove a stock si....big difference.

I'm sure it is. I really shouldn't have given my review yet. I installed the suspension this AM and only driven maybe 5 miles on it - trying to take back roads to hit some nice curves.

it did seem more responsive - once i get a chance to test it - maybe if i get to go to the dragon meet; then i could give a better review.

no doubt though, i do not regret the purchase or time to install.
it gave my car a nice drop, a sportier stance

this one curve that i usually take at about 75mph... with stock suspension, my car felt loose, like i was pushing the limits - almost like it was about to loose control - well after i installed the HFP i took the curve at 80 and didnt even realize i was going 80.. so from that i will assume my handling is +++

Yes you do since you changed mostly the whole syspension.
And if u get HFP syspension install at the dealer Im almost 99% sure that the alingment is included in the price of installation!

Alignment on both: front bolts, and a camber arm on the back?
