ok but that is the way u guys feel it from professional driver's points of views on reviews they have said springs that have lowered the car on stock shocks do improve handling otherwise the only point of springs would be to lower ur car, which is incorrect

For the most part, springs are there to lower the car. Yes, they do improve handling by lowering the center of gravity and are more stiff the stock springs, but not as near as much as a coilover and or full suspension set up.

yes, your right from my experience also on progress springs w/ stock shocks it actually made my car handle worse....looks good, that was the only thing prolly.

Okay in a perfect world on perfect rodes where there are NO bumps and nothing that is going to cause rebounding or the liking to the suspension springs WILL improve handling. Sad thing is you're always going to be hitting bumps, tracks, and all sorts of little things that can be thrown at you in the mountains or even track.

Anyways, drove an HFP SI today and i was impressed. I already ordered s2's at a deal better then i can get HFP for so no regrets.

Thing with HFP is you can get away with a wider set of rims and 235s most likely compared to dropping 1.5-2 inches and being much more limited in what wheels or rubber you can fit on your car. I'll be goin crazy with camber and fenders so i dont have to deal with this but its another thing to keep in mind when making a choice where HFP is involved.

Also, from the Owner's link site, check the Genuine Accessories link to locate the part. It will be very difficult to find, but you may be able to track it down.

The bad news is the price will not be as discounted as say, hondaautomotiveparts (majestic honda), but the good new is the shipping to your dealer for pick up will be free.

Would it be advisable to install other parts along with the HFP kit, or does it do well as a stand-a-lone?

A Rear Sway Bar would go great with it.

A perfect setup would be with HFP Suspension, Front and Rear Camber Kits, and a Rear Sway bar. For probably one of the best handling setups you can currently get.

HFP, alignment and sticky tires.
If you have more cash, add light wheels to that list.

How would your HFPs be effected if you removed the springs they came with and applied Eibach Sportlines? I've seen so far 2 people that have done this.

yes it would because the suspension isnt valved to handle that kind of drop and would wear out faster being that the hfp dampners are much stiffer.

It would also be pointless to get as the shocks and springs go hand in hand with each other..

Hfp is not low enough for me my sportlines did improve my handle i also have the rear sway bar with Nitto neo gens and i eat corners. But my stock struts and shocks are def blown after 35 k so i am going Skunk2 pro s which will handle just as good as hfp but low like i like it.
