I can tell you one thing, the HFP really helps control the car a lot more, there's a lot less pitch, roll, and dive.

No at first I was like aww man, thats barely a drop. But once you start to take turns fast. You feel a difference from stock thats for sure. It handles way better and feels more controlable at the wheel.

for sure. But I cant really say if its better then springs. It made a difference lowering my car and puting hfp in it. But I dont know exactly the feel and how well a car drives with springs ( eibach, tein s, h&R.) someone in here tell us your conclusion if you went to hfp and then to springs.

I went from the Progress Springs to HFP Suspension....and I got to tell you that there is a major big difference....

Not only is the ride smoother since the drop is not as low as the Progress was but handling wise it eliminated that body roll....I honestly felt that the car being stock handled better than the Progress Springs....I plan to get a rear sway bar now and see how that combo is....but i'm waiting till CT-engineering comes out with one as they told me this month but I highly doubt that....I dont really want Preogress RSB because of the 2 or 3 different parts you gotta buy so much of a hassle lol!

well I dont think it will become softer just because its HONDA performance. but who knows I havent reached my 2 k with it. Im trying to be patient with the drop because I want it to go lower. If it doesnt go lower Ill go with eiback prokit, and see the difference, If theres no difference then ill go back to it. lol Nothing better then wasting your money on your car!

So far I haven't heard anything bad about this setup other than the drop, but at least you don't have to worry about hitting any speed bumps or anything of that sort.

I agree ^ thats the best part about it honestly. My friends cars are all dumped, ek9, eg, prelude. when we all drive im always waiting for them to go over the speed bump. But someitmes you have have to be careful if you have mudguards like I do. Scratches just a little bit.

Well, I have made up my mind that this is the one that I want. I'm getting it as soon as I get the money. Any one have anything to say on the install?

front is easy, rear is time consuming, pretty straight forward, have a buddy help you make it easier, have fun

well if u drive carefully with a lowered car like 1.5in-2in u wil be fine..all u need to do is go sideways slowly on bumps or high entry slopes and nothing will hit even ur HFP front lip wont

are you serious? i had progress springs and the drop was about 1.4"...leaving a no finger gap in the rear and about a one fingergap in the front....for me 1.5 - 2in drop is too low, that will be like tucked with no gap between the tire and fender....i already thought progress springs were too low for me and i was scraping going sideways on certain driveways...i can't even imagine a 15. - 2in drop with 3-4 people in your car....that's just asking for it and its embarassing!

being dumped was so early 2000's, everyone time to step up your game and go for real suspension...HFP FTW!

lol i never said with 3-4 ppl in it lol thats more than an inch itself! all i know is my friends rsx with 1.5inches lowered with stechs is fine on bumps and his car was lower than ours to begin with and my cuz's sti is lower 2.5in and he still manages to get over high bumps surprisingly when driving carefully even with some ppl in his car so one way or another im sure ppl will figure out a way to keep their cars safe from damage

If you haven't read the thread; the HFP is not meant for drop, but performance.

drop ≠ performance

"≠" means "does not equal"

not true ...springs that offer a drop or even coilovers that offer a drop do = performance otherwise why would they be under suspenion/performance upgrades for people to buy? lol ya the HFP may not be entirely about the drop, but since it is a performance upgrade..why did they even decide to drop it about an inch? because when u lower ur center of gravity it does improve performance slighlty when done the right way ofcourse

Springs that offer a drop are almost always stiffer. Thats the reason stiffer springs.

I've driven a Mercedes SUV (high center of gravity) and it handles awesome! Better than my Ex with Si springs and Si swaybars.

Honda could have kept the same stock height with the HFP and kept nearly the same ride. But most people wouldn't have purhcase it.

from my experience with springs i would say taht they hampered my performance due to being on stock shocks.

Springs are for performance when paired with shocks, otherwise its just cosmetic.
