The HFP kit is a good starter kit designed to improve the confidence of the average driver by eliminating body roll and providing better steering response. The stock struts are decent but the spings seem to allow for to much suspension movement and to me seem as though they are really soft. I would go with the HFP as a beginning mod to improve the feel of the vehicle. For real competition purposes the kit will not measure up to some top grade coilovers from Spoon, Koni, Skunk2 or Buddy Club etc etc. Most important aspect of suspension upgrades is to get some proper tires and a proper alignment. The actual performance of the vehicle will not be increased, it will just inspire more confidence due to having a better feel on the road. $400 for an install is good IMO, back when I had the mercedes they wanted $700ish to install my Bilstein coilovers.

really 400 just so it stay under warranty? I mean I can get it professionalty done and alligned for 200 but if the warranty is a really big deal i guess Honda should do it but these other guys really know what they are doing

you guys should really just do the install yourself and save the 400 for something else...its really straight forward and simple...i didnt even get the hfp suspension for warranty.

Who cares about the drop?

*ducks*

How does it do at the track? Cornering confidence? Lat.-gs? That's the real question.

:)

Yeah, I'm more concerned about performance on the track. I don't know what measure other than: take it to the track over a few days on stock suspension, and alternate between that and HFP on each run, both road and autocross, and drivers and cars, and see what times are improved; this gets us a more statistically accurate picture.

Though, I think a more realistic test is to just see how overall time averages improve. Anyone?
