^^If you drive sideways on bumps and slowly, you will be ok. Im not saying a 3in drop will be fine, but I think a maximum of 2in would be good

They still want 610 for the kit and 400 for install lol soo even if I did get it, I would have this place do the install professionally for under 200 but like I said before Im not into just handling, I want my car lowered, so the stechs will be the best bet since by the time my shocks go out ther will be replacement ones . For those who are interested in springs and worried about their shocks, I made this thread to get some answers; It really helped my descion!

Springs will eventually ruin your Car?

I think if I do I will be getting Pro-Kit's... My stock ride height sits quite a bit lower than most (I have had people ask if it is lowered) and I don't think HFP would fill in that fender gap enough

bro Im in the same exact situation...been going back and forth as well and im starting to think maybe the reason I cant decide is maybe cause I really dont even need a suspension mod right now...i think my car looks great as of now and ya the lowered it gets it will look better and maybe better/stiffer handling but their are so many problems with each choice I have..springs;my shocks will die, eventually....skunk2 pro s;rough ride.....hfp;not enough of a drop lol too many problems I may not even need to spend the money its not as if its burning through my pocket but thats just me..we will see though.. to end it, im still leaning towards just springs for now...

Only issue with HFP is the drop. Nothing bad like the others may have on your ride. Just get springs to replace the HFP ones and lower your car. that may defeat the purpose of part of the HFP but you will win both ways.

ya^^ but if i do tht my shocks are still going to die..lol ther woould be no point because that spring was still not made to work with the HFP..it might last longer since the shocks are better than stock but just a waste of money still to get both since my shocks will die either way..so either id have to get full coilovers or just rely on springs

But the drop is why many people look at the suspension in the first place..

its pretty low imo in person i mean the pics really don't do justice. maybe your guys "definition" of low is like no finger gap which imo is too low...

I agree. But my stock suspension has settled really low. I have 2 - 2 1/4 inches of clearance. I don't think HFP will get me too much lower.

...and this is a mistake. Drop should be low on the priority list if you are serious about suspension mods. Might as well cut springs if you want to lose fender gap. But the HFP is a great complete package.

is that handling upgrade really worth 700 with the install? I know springs do the same thing as make it tighter than stock;hfp might make it stiffer and better but if my point is to just make it lower and handle a bit better/stiffer, wouldn't my best bet be to just get springs? Ya my shocks will die but by then new ones/replacements even from honda will be out so the 300 for springs is better imo since I can save the rest say for something like HID's or even a bit more..hondata lol I dont know though still debating, just taking a bit more time...

Cutting springs is probably one of the most dangerous things you can do to a car. Believe it or not, some people don't like their civic looking like a 4x4. They like to fill in that gap a little. Not everyone has the money for a complete suspension kit.

For me, I will probably buy Eibach Pro-Kit Coilovers. It is cheaper than the HFP, will fill in the fender gap a little bit, and is easy to install so I wouldn't have to pay 400 for the HFP install. If I had the extra money to throw around, yes, I would get a complete kit. But I don't go racing at the track or anything like that so it is not needed. The HFP does sound like a great package though.
