Throttle bodies for the supercharged (and everyone else)

Apologize if there is already a thread about this in another forum, but I was wondering if anyone has done a comparison thread of the various TB's available for our cars. Not just for us supercharged, but for everyone in general. I, for one, just installed my CTSC, and among aftercooling and a new inlet, would like to upgrade my TB. And although I have some ideas as to what TB I might use, I think a good comparison post would be awesome for me, and others who are looking and do not know too much about the options.

The acura zdx works as well.Theres only a 2mm difference on the inlet compared to the tl.

what are the dimensions to each of these? i believe the tl was 80->70? so i would assume the zdx is 78->70?

MDX / ZDX are the same. And yes 78 -> 70. It is significantly cheaper than the TL SHAWD one.

skunk2 72mm but has issue's don't bother getting it unless you'd get one that been caliberated by them, and even then it could still throw the code P2101

Well I guess I should consider myself lucky cause mines work and so does my friends skunk2 tb.

Its a hit and miss with the skunk2 TB, but if you get one that works, its a very good TB

Mine is not drive-by-wire but I have had zero issues with my Skunk2 70mm unit for two years now. I recommend the product, in fact.

i think i am going to do with the mdx tb. since it has to be rotated (i believe) with the imt inlet, does that mean that the hoses then would not be long enough to connect to where they need to?

The zdx is more expensive though.

Does anyone know what model year of the zdx/mdx? Or does it not matter?

^ ohhhh i was looking at the wrong one then. you cant use the tb off the 2007 mdx? looks to be the same to me

The 07 is basically the same as the normal J35, it's small. No point.
