Little Problem

CEL has come on for a third time and i finally got it checked

code P0172

Definition
-Fuel system too rich bank 1
Probable cause
-fuel system concern
-ignition system concern
-maf sensor faulty
-H02S/AF ration sensor fault

also i have noticed that under normal acceleration my dashhawk reads 10.1.1 afr, which i know thats the lowest it can go. once up to speed i am around 14.*.* range

what should i do?

did you try cleaning your o2 sensor out? and resetting the ecu after its done?

and you have flashpro right? are you runing the current stage 2 calibration?

make sure your flashpro manager is up to date and reload the calibration that is stored on it.

unless your tuned. then i'd say i dunno.

i'd try cleaning the o2 sensor out then, and make sure your air filter is clean. resetting ecu.

maf could also be dirty but i doubt it.

air filter is clean, ct intake hasnt been on for 1000 miles, maf should be ok, it has to be the first 02 sensor, the AFRs are all over the place since i read my AFR off the first one

Are you running the stage 1 flash from flashpro or the reflash from sending in your ECU? I had the exact same problem running the factory hondata tunes. My car would just not run right at all. Just had Jeff Evans tune mine. His maps are totall different and the car is running soo much better now. I would not trust the maps on flashpro.

If you've been running it for awhile now, and this just suddenly happened. Check your connections, then I would check the AFR sensor. There were a couple of guys that had their sensor go bad.

No. The o2 sensor is fine. It's just your tune. Hondata is very conservative, just get a e-tune and your problems will be fixed.

the base reflash they send with the stage 1 kit is totally safe. i ran it for a LONG time.

i did have a RH though which might have leaned me up a bit not causing it to be crazy rich.

FP and a smaller pulley should be on your list of "to do's" :P

push the saftey aspect of a real tune with flashpro.

my engine will last longer and is safer then a generic tune"

works everytime.

well it did with my wife. when i wanted to upgrade. lol

No. You must buy your own FlashPro. Your only priority for your engine at this point should be FlashPro. Upgrading parts haphazardly without the ability to properly tune your vehicle is very foolish. With forced induction you MUST tune it if you want your ish to last.
