you will NOT pass in cali without a cat. but if you swap the stock header back in for testing on stage 1 you will pass with flying colors.

flashpro is even easier as you can flash the car with the stock program and as long as the car doesn't see boost it will be fine.

imma put my stock injectors back in, zip tie my bypass valve open and flash the car with the stock program for smog.
then put it all back and reflash my current calibration back onto the ecu.

i will note i have a header with a hfc on it. and have passed emisions with a hfc before so it can be done.
lol
Thanks man!

I would hate to have to pass smog, how would they know your stage2 from stage1? Just put on your stock header and roll with it.

i'd say most smog shops wouldnt know. as they can't see what injectors your rockin and wouldnt know what pulley is what.

however ct won't give you a carb sticker if you don't order stage 1 first.

so those of us that have upgraded have em.

you could probably get a sticker from CT if you told them you were gonna go back to stage 1 or w/e. i dunno you'd have to ask them.

Wait, you're in LA? They really that strict there that you would need a cat at all?
