are you guys having problems with the radiator hose being against the bottom of your SRI? it bugs me that all the heat from the hose is making my SRI warmer. is there any type of heat blanket that i can wrap around the hose? any sugestions?
another topic is the 3" pulley. any idea how much higher rpm the blower will run? i don't want to damage the blower from making it spin too fast. i'm looking into the 3" pulley and want to get a tune on it. i figure with full bolt on's i should dyno higher than other guys with the JR kit. |

Wow this is exactly what I needed, just no information in here yet haha. But I heard from someone that there is a problem with the jackson kit dealing with the tensioner and possibly something else. Can anyone clarify for me? I been looking at this kit for a while and saving pennies but if there is an issue I may consider spray. Comptech is too much money for my blood.

Yeah i have the problem the kit. It makes a different whine noise when i pass 5k rpm on load driving. The sounds comes from the pulley side and it almost sounds like sand its spinning, its to hard to explain. I took some videos but the SC whine is to loud, so I really cant hear the problem in the videos.

I love my JR kit, even know everyone is all about CT right now. The only issues I had was with the damn belt. That thing is so tight putting it on. (I know it is ment to be tight) runs great, can't wait to see what it does with flashpro.

The kit is great.. the only problem is no traction in first but that will be solved in the spring.. I am hoping to put down over 300 whp after installing the smaller pulley and tuning some more

Just checking in, I have had the kit for a year now and the only problem I have had is I melted the hi flow cat on my Vibrant RH. I am soon to be tuned this fall so I will see what she can do.
My future plans that should put me around 330: flashpro JRSC Aftercooler built by the guys over on CRSX IPS SC cams Hytech SC spec header |

Just a suggestion: You can go with any run-of-the mill long-tube header. Does not need to be a fancy 4-1. 4-2-1 is fine. The supercharger negates most of the "limitations" that might otherwise affect a an N-A motor. When the car is in boost, the exhaust is going out, one way or the other. On the RSX's, we have not seen custom-built headers really make any difference on our cars. Good luck with the build.
