With a race header and exhaust it should free up a lot of power, once we get a better ECU system like K-Pro it will unleash a lot more power. Also I wonder what Jackson Racing will be coming out with and the AFTERCOOLER.
The guy that designed the aftercooler has the DC% engine in a lotus and with I/RH/E and supercahrger and Kpro he made around 300 and with the aftercooler he made 364whp and 210tq. From what i remeber he sold his design or something. I read about it on the clubrsx forums. BUt all in all your car is a beast and IM SUPER JEALOUS |

My freinds rsx type s with SRI 3 inch exhaust custom headers cams and the kpro is putting more hp to the wheels. All motor got his done by epic motoring in wilmington, ca i definitely will not get the comptech sc kit or the greddy turbo kit. Way to much money for not enough HP 1 HP is not worth $100 that's just my 2 cents. Im not hating at all you got exactly what the kit promised 40 to 50 whp so thats cool but me personally im going to hold off. By the way anybody know if there going to make a kpro for the SI i heard that they wont be if anybody can clarify id appreciate it.

I am new to this forum, but not new to boost, Comptech, or Honda's. Comptech has never boasted having the most ridiculous HP numbers ever. When you buy a Comptech Supercharger kit you buy reliability, good power gain, consistency, and durability. They have superior customer service and the supercharger doesn't need to be serviced for 70k (non-existent with turbo kits) All of their supercharger kits put down reasonable HP #'s on low boost. For instance the 3rd gen TL kit on about 4.5 lbs of boost is making about 65whp. With the addition of an intake and an exhaust it is pushing close to 85whp. With the HBP it ups the boost 2-3 lbs and the whp is yet to be dynoed.
COMplex, as with the case with many people, was looking for reliability and good HP #'s. I have not met one person yet disappointed with the quality or power that their kits provide. A 4 cyl now feels like a 6 cylinder and a 6 cylinder like a 8 cylinder. It is not ridiculous throw you back in your seat power as is usually experienced with a turbo kit once the turbo has reached full spool or peak tq. It takes power to make power with the S/C kit so you have a very linear power curve and a very stead power increase. If you are looking for massive amounts of torque you really have the wrong car. Yes, he could benefit from a race header and an exhaust, but 40-50whp promised from Comptech has been shown. Besides unless you have a factory beast aren't most of these new Si's putting down about 175-180whp?

My Si must be one of those factory beasts (Or more likely the Dyno was wrong). But mine put 193 whp down stock and 211 with DC header and AEM intake. Again, I would expect some serious increases with just a race header alone on a comptech setup. Just my 2 cents.

was those 3rd gear pulls? i know most people recommend 4th gear because it has the closest ration of 1 to 1 for the gearing. the results might be a little higher if done in 4th. anyways congrats and keep us posted on your car in the future |

Those look like they were 3rd, You need to do 4th to get an accurate reading. You get a HIGHER HP reading with 3rd. The gears are helping more. |
