For all you supercharged guys...

So Hopefully this won't get locked as "clutter" I find it to be a pretty solid question that could not only help myself, but others looking to go F/I.

SO with new turbo kits coming out and the advancements in ECU tuning, are you still happy you went with an S/C?

Thanks 2fast4u for the poll!

I just went Stage 2 and I couldn't be happier. I suppose I could of waited and went turbo since we can tune now, but I don't regret my decision.

I just hope this doesn't turn into a supercharger vs. turbo battle. Both have there pro's and cons.

Thanks! This is the kind of response I was looking for.

Chris
im 110% satisfied with my SC.

There are times when I wish I could make the great hp/tq #s that a turbo can provide, but i'd quickly get to the point where i need to be seriously worried about the internals, etc. not because turbos are less reliable, but because its easier to increase power on a turbo and i'd get to the point where its 'too much'. the SC helps me keep it in check while still giving me anough of a bump in power to make the car an extreme joy to drive.

fyi - im at stage 1 still

i couldnt make up my mind if i wanted to go sc or turbo..... so i talked myself into ct-e stage2 (so i would have the abilty to keep pushing more bo0st) & couldnt be any happier ... best thing ever for me ... no looking back i think it perfect 4 me & the way i drive its just the right amount of power 4 me. just my 2 cents tho...

no regrets on going s/c. the main reason i did go s/c at the time was the tune though. now if i were to do it again at this later date in time, i would probably go turbo.

Yeah, I really want to get everyone's opinion and get a good basis of what the F/I Si owners are thinking right now

I love my supercharger. While it's not the fastest, the linear power band makes for a great DD. I think you also get to a point on fwd cars where more power just becomes pointless. I am about to put a 3.15" pulley on my CT and hopefully that should be a good balance between power and drivability.

pretty much any more power then i already have would be kinda pointless for a DD fwd car. not that i wouldn't mind more power lol. however i am 3000000000% happy with my 3.15inch ct stage 2 car.

I love my JRSC and linear power, but sometimes I think of what it would have been like to have gone with a turbo. Once I get rid of this horrible reflash and get a proper tune, I wont regret going JRSC.
