need help... what are the parts needed to take the SC off?

hello everyone

I'm prolly gonna part out the Moogie this coming week, and I needed help to figure out what parts do I have to buy to part out

I know I'm gonna need FPR, and reflash the ECU back to stock

do I need to change the heatsheild when i take the SC off?

and what's the process to get hondata to flash my ecu back to stock?

I need to do this ASAP to get my trade in going, so any help would be really appreciated

-AJ

I'm looking at around $2800 (including crushed FPR)
and it's really sad for me to let the moogie go, it will always be in my good memories if that deal goes through

I just got a pretty good deal on a 2008 STi

I've always wanted a AWD turbo, and I think this is the right time

lots of stuff will come off the moogie, and I'll prolly be stuck with most of it

everyone overpays for a mugen and then gets rid of it not long after, thats gonna be a killer loss. didnt you just get new retros done like not even a month ago too.

but yeah dont worry bout the FPR you wont have any probs running the car with it when the SC isnt on there. only thing you will need is to flash ecu back to stock. contact hondata and they will give you the info on where you need to send it and how much to makeout a money order for

UM, wont that make the car run really rich.

Higher fuel pressure than the stock tune was deisigned for?

no the car will adjust accordingly. i know people who ran their car after taking the supercharger off and it ran just like it did before the FPR was crushed.

1st of all, I didn't over pay for my mugen, I got it late so I got it for dirt cheap compared to most of the owners
+ I got it financed for less than most regular Si owners got theirs for

2nd, yes I just got the retros like a month ago, but i already paid for them and made the deal with customlightz like 3 months ago, this wasn't planned, but I don't think i can pass the deal

Thank you for showing your concern, but i just asked for what i need to do

I don't believe the car will run good after with higher fuel pressure

can some one chime in please

and what about the reflash and the heatsheild gasket?

thank you all for the help

Personally i would have to see the air to fuel ratios to believe it was running right with the crushed regulator.

why dont u sell the CT supercharger with the reflash n crush FPR, and ask the buyer to give u the oem FPR and the stock ECU... wouldnt that work??? as long as the car is 08 SI???
