¼ Mile Track meet in ORLANDO, FL

I wanted to schedule a ¼ Mile Track meet in ORLANDO, FL (http://www.speedworlddragway.com/) on a Friday which is the day they have it open for street drags. I was shooting for a date around July 14th or 21st, I would like to get feed back on the date to see when it would be a good time for others to come. I want to have all the FL people to show up. I’m sure there will be plenty of cool things to do after the drag I’ll have to ask some of the local people that live there. I would like for this to happen in July anytime after the 14th just give me feed back on a Friday that works.

Downtown OTown dear. 10 minutes south of church st.

And to shadow: I'll call up my buddy who is big into the orlando performance car scene to see if there are any cool going ons before/after track nights on Friday. I know Friday nights are pretty crowded there. I've personally been to the track a few times and it's nice, lots of parking, etc. Never on a Friday night though.

Got to see one of the new Ford GT's run a 10 second quarter mile there. Pretty wicked car.

You guys have a pretty lame bar scene over there as well. I went to ... I think it was called the "dog and bone". The name should have tipped me off to the clientel. I was getting hit on by 40 year old desperate houeswives.

Ya I will say parts can be pretty lame. Go beachside there are some nicer places further down south.

Jensen please let me know what we could do after the track because it closes at 10:30pm and there is plenty of time to have more fun stuff. Just keep me updated.

Ole Bithlo i miss that place when i was in college at EMBRY-RIDDLE. cant wait to move back and meet everyone in 8-9mo. They don't do test n tune on wed anymore? when i was in college 99-02, we'd go wed. and fri and on sundays when it was FUNDAY SUNDAY. Well I talked to my friend. He didn't really know of anything specific that goes on before/after a track night. He did say that groups of people meet up in that parking lot with the library (bar) across from UCF. You know, where the mcdonalds and stuff is.

Ok the meet is still July 14th, we should meet up outside and all drive in at the same time that would be pimp! We need a place where we can all meet up. Does anybody know where we could meet up at?

What do you mean there is nothing out there? It’s Orlando! I’m just not that familiar with that area only place I know of is Disney World.
