Although I wasn't involved with planning the original MINIs on the Dragon event in 2003, it ended up with like 20 cars (35 people). My wife and i were involved with planning for the next 3 events (2004-2006). This year there were approx. 400 - 450 MINIs and approx. 700 people. It has become very crazy.

The best times that we have had at the Dragon are with smaller groups with no agenda. If we are to do this, it would probably be best to have a get-together Fri. & Sat. nights so people can get acquainted and kick tires and plan drives for the next day. It would also be cool to plan a group photo shoot for Sat. sometime.

I'm jealous. That road looks like a lot of fun. I would so be there if I didn't live clear across the country! Take lots of pics, be safe and have fun!

i'd be down....i wish it was sooner though...summer time kinda...september is sooo far, University is open again etc. etc but i'd still make it...but sooner would be better.

The main reason for going in September was the number of meets start decreasing at that time in that area.
