Who's in? Just look for all the Hondas and Acuras cruisin' around the area. Watch for high water.

Bump for the first KY Meet of the year. Southern Indiana, Southern Ohio, and Northern Tennessee owners are more than welcome. The more the merrier.

Looks like Cox Park is under a bit of water right now. Hopefully it clears out before next weekend!

uhh...is this meet still going on?
its suppose to rain all weekend and you know how river road gets when it rain.

Just keep checking this thread for updates. If the river rises more, the meet could be canceled or moved. I'll let everyone know.

Edit: Currently, this is what the Courier-Journal says.

Emergency officials are in the process of putting up barricades at Frankfort Avenue and River Road just before 7 a.m. because the area is flooded and not safe for drivers, according to MetroSafe Communications.

This is an area that often has problems during rain showers.

No information was available about how long the area might be blocked off.

Anybody know what's up with the meet? I've been meaning to head down there to check out the park and see what it looks like. I'm not sure if I'm even going to go now. Even if the park is open, it's liable to be dirty as hell. Has anyone seen what it looks like since the rain?

I have a feeling this meet is canceled. There's talk that it will be moved, but for now, I'm not sure. Check this thread later tonight/early tomorrow morning for more details. Either way, if the meet does happen, it'll still be in Louisville at 3 p.m. It's just a matter of WHERE.

Because someone else set it up. The meet has been moved to across the street from Cox Park. Same time, new location. No biggie.

ah right....hmmmm ok well ill still try and make it...just that i got work at 5 so its going to be tought gettin there and then treckin it across town to get to work on time through rush hour traffic.
