The red lines remind me of the red "sunbeams" that are sometimes used in the japan sun flag. Nice work.

what's your resolution, 'cuz my "high-res" version is 6400 px wide.

PS: Huh, you're right Shane. I hadn't thought of that.

when i scan i SCAN. It helps to have a 300GB main hard drive and a 500GB external drive. That way i can hang on to the 100+ MB originals. (it actually warns me when i scan at 1200dpi "You are about to scan an image exceeding 100MB in size. Are you sure you want to continue?" It gives a box to nullify the warning but i think its funny so i leave it alone.)

if you're in windows, right-click on the desktop background and select "Properties" in XP or "Personalize" (if i recall correctly) in Vista. (if Vista and the right-click also shows a control panel for a graphics processor, click that). In XP, clicking Properties will take you to the Display window. Click the "Settings" tab and read the numbers in the "Screen Resolution" box (its got a little slider bar for adjusting the resolution).
Basically, screen resolution is the dimensions of the image that is produced by the graphics board measured in pixels. For example, older computer used to display 800 x 600 but newer ones with newer graphics processors can go up much higher (my laptop somehow manages to put out 1680 x 1050. I think its a glitch though). Sometimes a computer can produce an image that is to hi-res for the monitor/display, which is why it has that "Your desktop has been reconfigured. Do you want to keep these settings?" box that pops up with the timer that restores the previous settings unless you click OK.

I'm def show up but i might not come in my car at first. I'll probably show up on my 3-speed and, depending on where things go, i'll either head home and swap for grace and come back or i'll meet y'all at wherever you end up.

BTW: how am i a sponsor?

deviantART played a joke on us too. I logged on the other night and thought someone'd hijacked my account 'cuz my avatar had been changed to a pic of a Pokemon! I was about to panic when i noticed that everyone else's was too. Then i read the journal and had a laugh.
