i'm having a few technical issues right now, but i should have my new flashgun fully operational for the meet. Group-photo-much? I'd like to see the look on the face of whoever i get to snap it.

i have one of those cheapy tripods from big box mart. The problem with using my Argus with a tripod is that there's no timer. You can't set it and then just run in the picture. Someone has to physically push the button.
BTW: i'm wanting to do this mainly as a gimmick. I want to see how well the flash works. I managed to set it off the other day by short-circuiting the gun, but i think that there's a short somewhere in the gun itself too b/c when i tried to shoot it off today the bulb wouldn't fire. I'll test the batteries when i get home.

just out of curiosity. There's a yellow S2000 that lives on one of the Livingstons (E & W i think) in old metairie. I'm curious if anyone knows them. I pass on my bike whenever i go for a ride and i saw this teenager washing it one time. If it's his i'm not going to be happy. When you live in old metairie you get used to seeing teenagers driving cars that they have no business driving like Lexus IS' and BMW 3's but those, while expensive, are sedans. Can you IMAGINE the insurance on a yellow S2000 for an 18-19yo??? MY insurance is more than both my parents' combined! (Dad drives a BMW 550 and mom is 2005/2006 Acura MDX)!
