Potential LA Meet!! *Input needed*

Well like the title says... its just been so long. We need to get a meet together. Me and Dru have been talking for some time about having one but neither one of us really got it off the ground. Then last thursday me, Roger, and J were talking about how long overdue a meet has been so here it is.

March 15 @ High Noon

1. LakeFront- The lakefront has been the decided upon location for the "Greet and Meet"

I need everyone to chime in and lets get the ball rolling

Yes, I think it has been long overdue for a meet. Count me as long as I'm not busy for the date proposed. I will try to come up with some ideas. I think baton rouge or new orleans would be a good place to have one. I remember last time suggesting that if we had one in new orleans, maybe a possible bbq at the lakefront.

Just set a date and time so i can take off from work, but other than that I'm in.

BBQ at the lakefront or even at a State Park is a great idea, i know the main spot on the Northshore is very picturesque

during the evening, i don't know my around the Southshore, but i am sure that N.O. guys will know.

Ok seeing as we have a nice number of people interested but no dates out there. Im thinking about saturday March 15. Its a lil over a months notice so everyone should have ample time to adjust their schedules accordingly. Now theres only the question of what we should do. I think the bbq idea would be a big hit, plus the lakefront has some very nice angles for pics. But we would need financial commitments from everyone, which wouldn't be that costly at all if we had at least 10 people interested.

Also we would need one of the local Nola peeps to supply a grill, which shouldn't be too hard of a task.

I say make it a sort-of potluck.
One person brings buns, another drinks, etc.,etc.....
We should definitely make it a lake front meet.
