Stolen Rear Lip

Hey Guys,

Someone stole my rear hfp lip off of my car last night. I was making this thread to see if anyone can be on the look out for anyone trying to sell a fiji blue rear lip. Whoever stole the lip left the mounting brackets on my car, so I don't know how they plan on installing it if they were keeping it for themselves. I have no idea who could have stole it; I don't have any enemies. I guess the saying is true that you can never have anything nice for your car. I hate how people have no respect for other peoples stuff. By the way, this happened at my apartment in Lafayette.

That sux...when I was installing mine I was thinking about how easy it would be for someone to steal. Good luck catching the nob.

Do you think it's worth it? At first I wasn't going to bother because my deductible is more than it would cost to replace it.

I doubt its worth doing it through insurance. Criminals are pretty stupid so be on a look out cuz whoever stole it might be dumb enough to sell it here or on ebay etc. Sorry to hear the news..thats beat. But be glad it was the rear lip...not the whole car

Man thats sux so bad bro. Did it leave the stock bumper in bad shape by them just ripping it off? I'll be on the look out for anyone selling a hfp fiji rear lip

Thanks man. The good thing is it looks like the stock bumper looks fine with the exception of one small scratch that I can probably buff out. It looks like they actually unscrewed it from the brackets.

yea i guess it all depends on what the deductible would be. . .i know i have mine set high because im only 18 and would like to be covered if something ever did happen

The funny thing is there's a cop that lives right next to me. His car wasn't parked far from mine. I told him about it just to give a heads up and to keep a lookout.
