alright poll time. i was about to paint the calipers again cuz they were starting to flake. should i just take them back to silver and leave them or repaint them red but do a better job. i was thinking about actually scuffing them up and then putting a clear coat on them.

I would do it for you if I was there, but I say keep them red, b/c w/o sandblasting them, they're not gonna get all of the red off and that's a bitch b/c you have to take them off for that. I would Jack the complete left side of the car up, and do two at a time. Get you some 320 grit sandpaper, and scuff them up really good, then use the break cleaner to get all of the grease and stuff off (that's the most important part and will determine how long they look good) and tape off what you want to tape off (I didn't tape anything off, I just used a hangar and took one bolt off of the caliper to allow it to move away from the break pads) and then take your time and get good coverage and do a couple coats. Clearing is up to you. It wouldn't hurt it I suppose. Post your results when you're done. It definitely looks better than silver on your car for sure. Don't listen to kevin, he's just mad they don't make a color that looks good on his car. If he had a paint scale, he could try to figure out a mixture by the drop to make the same color as his car minus the metallic flakes and post the results including the mixture online for everyone else. I really wish I was there to help you guys out. I would just take the scale from Falcon and make it happen.
