doesnt happen captain. a dyno is a dyno and there doesnt matter if the psi is a little low. the entire car is pulling up so why does it matter. seriously think about it.

yes you can give yourself more power!!! lol

You round in school on grades so why not on a dyno. We will see saturday what the real number is.

No offense Jarred, but you're the one that's lacking in the common sense department. You always argue about everything with people and in the end, you always give in and conform, so why not just save some time and do it now.

How is there a difference in the power between the dyno that measures at the wheel and the dyno that measures at the hub? Power is lost at the tires. I was just wondering about the psi however b/c it affects you on the road, why wouldn't it affect you on the dyno?

No i dont give in.

I could see the initial flew of the tire losing power but not at the top end. If you are right then what psi should i run at? 45? The higher is better.

Ok. So i talked to the dyno guy. Saturday he is going to be in Batesville dynoing at some ford dealership. Its an 1:15 minutes away. Now his shop is also about the same distance away. He will be at the dealership until 3ish. Then he will be back at his house at around 6. We can dyno anywhere. Now since i am a member of the local car website he thinks he is going to let us dyno for 50 bucks. But that is under the impression that 4 of us dyno. Now in bryans case he wants to dyno with the cai and then sri. The more runs you do the more heat soak the car gets. If we can swap the sri in about 5 minutes he wont care but longer than that its going to waste time. What he reccomends us do is do 3 runs and then swap the intake. This will give the car time to cool so you will get more accurate numbers. This makes since. This way it will cost bryan 100 bucks but its only a little bit more than the original 75 bucks. He said we could also do the runs early sunday morning that way it will be cooler outside. Now this wont effect the hp numbers because everything is sae corrected but it will keep the car from heatsoaking that much quicker. Let me know your thoughts.

I also just went to honda and they are ordering the 3rd gear set, a new ebrake handle cuz mines wearing pretty bad and the are doing a a/c check. It gets pretty warm whenever i am sitting at a redlight but still wanted them to check it. The guy test drove the car and asked if i had a cai. I said yes then he said am i sure its a cai or one thats sitting under the hood. He kept reving the car at 4300 to hit vtec but i guess did not put 2 and 2 together and ask about a reflash. I thought it was funny. he only romped on it once. Anyways i played the deployment card and they should have my 3rd gear set in within the next few days so the car should be done before i deploy.

I don't know. That's why I was bringing it up.

Neways. So, you're keeping your exhaust now? Also, you're going to get the comptech s/c? What happened?

yeah. as of right now im keeping the tanabe. I want a quiet exhaust and the power i would gain would be not worth the grand. I can put it in coilovers and be much happier. The comptech will be the easiest. They have stage 2 pullies and belts but i would have to get some tuning solution. I will just wait for kpro then upgrade. Or i may just stay at stage 1. i dont know.

Just so you know, you could sell your tanbe and pretty much have the money for a vibrant exhaust. It won't matter till you're boosted though. I think you should just keep the tanabe however. I'll keep the vibrant. That way, we'll be different.

i know i could get a pretty penny for the tanabe. hell it retails for 775. I think the vibrant would be to loud for my taste and tho i would probably like it in the begining it would start to get on my nerves and i would kick myself in the ass for selling the tanabe. When does your get in?

S/c? Supposed to ship thursday. The tanabe can be found new for 550 now. I know where.
If you went around punching it everywhere, I'm sure it would get on your nerves, but if you drive normal like you say you do to save gas, it would be nice.
