I saw this thread and figured I should post something..

I'm not exactly from Little Rock, but I am in Arkansas. A little place called Magnolia in the middle of nowhere southern Arkansas. I have only been living here for about a year. I have an '08 Habi Red FA5, no mods just yet.

I have three more weekends here. Once a week we try to get together and have a mini meet at the lubys in west little rock. We need to find some more Fiji blue si's because seth cant make anymore meets before i leave and the other one is moving so we are screwed. We all honestly need to make a conserted effort to get every si we meet to come out. The 2nd of august would be the only other saturday i could do anything. The 9th is to close to the deplyment so that would be pushing it. Everyone needs to keep some paper and a pen in your car to leave notes on the windshields of the other si's.

Jarred, remember when I was asking what can make me grind without shifting?

I think that's what I heard.

ok. he just stopped by the house and i took a look at the bushings. The bushings are supposed to fit in the retainer very tightly. his are loose. So when he gets on the gas or brakes very hard it makes the c clip slide around and then when he shifts it bumps into the metal on the motor. I turned the c clip and put a dab of super glue on it to hold it in place. It worked great but after a quick drive it came loose again. He is going to be going to advanced auto parts and have them find a way to keep it from swiviling. With it swiviling it makes it almost impossible to get the car in odd numbered gears.

haha. At least you know how to rev match correctly. With practice you will become a pro. How did the tack weld work?

No shops open right now I'm gonna call TWM after work tomorrow morning and see what they say. Maybe they'll express ship another set.

The rev matching is awesome, did it 3 times in a row without head bobbing!

congrats. You wont even notice that you are doing it soon. I will become second nature. I would call them tomorrow and see what they say. Did you not pick up the tack weld?

Nah not yet. If TWM is going to send me the pieces again, I can survive with 2/4/6 for a few days. I'm off Monday so it's all good.
