Stephen also came out and we got to see the boosted si. it was very impressive. its making me wanna go turbo'd instead of supercharged. the car was running great and sounded even better. he said it dyno'd at 242 and 187 ft lb of tq. thats pretty good with the greddy base tune. he said he should have it professionally tuned in the next few months when he heads to Houston. i handed deidrick his ass on the interstate which i was not expecting to. well that was tonight. we had a pretty good turnout with little cop involvement. all in all it was a great night to go out.

Does he have a oil catch can and a turbo timer?? (It doesnt come with the greddy turbo kit) If not his turbo may have a life of about 6 months. Make sure he knows (he probably already does) that he needs to leave the car running a little while before he shuts it off. The greddy kit is incomplete in regards to those two items missing.

133 is a stock civic. i would think there is a problem if you couldn't do that. plus you will need more than 4k to get a turbo kit. after everything it cost him like 4500ish. still not bad for a 50+hp gain.

You haven't even been in a s/c'd si have you? The guy that posted up his dyno numbers recently with comptech s/c, bcrh, 2.5" exhaust, and x intake made like 250something. It's in the boosted section. I don't have time to link it now. Check it out. I would turbo, but too much hassle from my experience. I think I'll try the other side of things this time.
One question, did it feel faster than danny's type-s with the old pulley?

unfortunatly i did not get to ride in it. he is not beating on it to much because it is just the base tune and its running ultra rich. he is having a problem when he raises hell in it actually cutting power because the car realizes it has too much gas. we just got side tracked when we got out there because he said he was going to give me a ride. on the way over there he actually had to shut the car off and then back on to get it to work properly. once he gets the proper tune i think that it will be very impressive.

Damn I think I might just get the Injen CAI plus the Apexi filter and TBS plus the gaskets...

I don't know it either that or the evo2. Maybe HFP rear lip.

Maybe I'll post my intake up for sale soon...

the greddy turbo kit, from what i was told by a greddy tech doesnt need cool down because it is water and oil cooled. of course a turbo timer is a precaution and a catch can help very little.

i dont have a lot of experience with turbo'd si's but there is a mugen si sc'd down in conway putting down 243 at the wheels. good enough to stomp my rex before it grenaded on me.

this past weekend i went to nashville to pick out an apartment and i meet some guys.
one guy had a stock looking tc except lowering springs running 26 psi, the other guy had a 240sx with a skyline rb26dett swap done to it. i was indeed impressed. after i had been talking to them a wrx like mine pulled up missing a front bumper and was revealing a aps dr72 front mount intercooler(FMIC). he had a lot of stuff done to it, his dyno sheet he showed me had 367 at the wheels. It was a fun trip we went shopping and saw speed racer on the IMAX. awesome is all i can say.

next friday is the last day i will be able to see anyone, since im moving, i would like to get everyone out at shell and lubys and spend my last day hanging out with friends and enjoy what i like doing before i get the luxury of getting up for school at 5 in the morning. i hope to see you guys out there.
