Jared, as you know I took my Type-S into the stealership (under warranty still) for third gear pop out and water in taillights... They replaced taillights. Couldn't duplicate 3rd gear pop out... (third ****** time I've had it in there for that) so I asked for someone to ride with me... They saw it happen twice in less then 3 minutes. Why the tards couldn't duplicate the problem anyother time is beyond me. So 3rd gear synchros and other parts have been ordered today and it goes back into shop Tuesday next week. The TL they gave me this go around was sweet. Hope I get the same car next week. Time will tell. Soon as I get it back I'm put'n amsoil in that bish.

sup guys. well i just got back from training in mississippi. I just read thru the first page of that ems and i will believe it when i see it. its also a pretty penny. i will wait for a while if that is the only thing available. 1500 is a much more reasonable price for em but 2200 is way to much. i will just keep the reflash if thats the price.

sorry jeremy for drunk dialing you last night. i did not mean to wake you up.

i just wonder what will happen if they cannot duplicate the problem. i haven't been having the problem much lately. i may take off the short shifter and take it by just to see what they say.

Yea, I took it by last week again for the 4th time and asked if they would ride with me or I with them... 8 minutes later it popped out of gear twice on the same trial run. Then this TSB gets put out a couple of days after. Parts should be in tomorrow. I'll keep everyone posted. I'll also be doing a full review and DIY write up on the following strut king parts:

-black rubber insert foot pedals =$6
-Strut King short shifter =$59
-shifter bushings =$23
-shifter cable bushings =$25

Though since I'm get'n all this at once he's decided to give me a discount on the items. I've heard nothing but praise about his defouler (that he used to sell) and his shifter bushings virtually eliminating 3rd gear pop out and second gear grinding issues so I'm lookin forward to this mod. I'm skeptical on his short shifter as I'll be one of the first to get it. But, time will tell on that.
Here is a link to his RSX product page. He does have stuff for 8th gens though can't speak on what peoples opinions are of them.
